The Health Centre, located in A0174, offers First Aid/CPR and treatment for minor illness, injuries, and emergencies, assessment of illness or injury, along with referral to appropriate care and emergency transportation to health facilities, such as the hospital emergency department.
You will also be able to access the Health Centre for monitoring chronic medical conditions, blood pressure, prescription renewal, health and personal counselling and referrals.
You can get your Student Insurance claim forms and further information at the Health Centre and health immunization forms are reviewed here for student placements. If you require any immunizations, you may be able to review your immunization here at the beginning of each semester.
Immunizations are also available in Sault Ste. Marie at walk-in clinics like PharmaSave and IDA, but students are encouraged to get their immunizations completed early or even before starting at Sault College. Algoma Public Health can also be accessed for immunizations and other public health testing, and it is conveniently connect to campus.
